About Us

Established in 1954, Footscray Park Bowling Club (FPBC) has been a pioneer in fostering inclusivity within the Lawn Bowling community. From its inception, FPBC welcomed both men and women, earning its distinction as one of the first female-friendly bowling clubs. Notably, Glad Dawson, a celebrated player, secured the title of the Victorian Open Ladies Champion in 1977 and 1978, embodying the club's tradition of excellence.
